I love running.
I love running far.
My name is Trevor Wolfe and I live “Wild and Wonderful” West Virginia. This state abounds with hundreds of miles of trails over seemingly endless hills. While relentless at times, the rocky mountainous terrain provides the perfect training grounds to groom any runner into an accomplished ultra marathoner and trail runner.
I used to be your average weekend warrior, running races most weekends during the summer for fun with little training during the week. I had run some marathons and half marathons in the past and loved to mix in those mud obstacle course races from time to time. Recently though, I have been obsessed with going farther than 26.2 miles. Ever since completing my first ultramarathon in April 2018, I have been hooked on ultras.
When you run for 2, 3, 4 hours at a time you have a lot of time to think.
This blog is about all my thoughts while running. It is about the training, the racing, the gear, and the beautiful places running takes me. I hope to inspire others to get outside and run too. Enjoy!
Follow me on Strava so I can see your runs too!
